NY Writer's Coalition (Black Writer's Program) "Starting Points: Writing for the Stage and Screen"-Writer

Weekly meetings, during which everyone’s pages were read aloud and we gave and received feedback on the work and set writing goals for the upcoming week(s).

September 2020-Present

NYU's Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program-student

Currently taking courses that emphasize craft, the art of collaboration, rewriting, storytelling, and developing an original voice. Students are immersed in all aspects of New York musical theatre, workshopping their material with directors, actors, and major artists in the field and writing original works for the musical stage.

Eugene O'Neill Theater Center: National Theater Institute-Advanced Playwright

 *2020 Miranda Family Fellow

A domestic study abroad Intensive focused on different aspects of playwriting (world-building, monologue work, character development) resulting in a number of Theatrical pieces currently in a revisionary process.


*Accepted as a Fellow to complete an observership, sitting in on the rehearsal process for Ari Afsar and Lauren Gunderson’s musical We Won’t Sleep (November 29, 2021-December 17, 2021)
